Quilted cushion cover part 2!

This morning, R asked. “So where is MY cushion?” Oops… not done yet. Better get it done soon.

I didn’t have any quilt batting, so I used some pink flannel for the left and blue fleece for the right. The color comes through abit but I think it’s alright, gives both cushions a subtle difference as well.

A very helpful prop assistant was helping me line up dolls but I couldn’t get far enough to take in everything.

Here’s the helpful assistant who was almost always in the picture ;)

OK PHOTOSHOOT OVER MUMMY… GIVE ME BACK MY PILLOW!

Thanks for your comment Kerry. :)
I wish I had the chance to meet Sarah too! It’s great to find so many blogging mums out there. Wish I knew how you manage to do all that while taking care of two young children!

Thanks Sarah! The pillows are gorgeous because of your fabric! :) Oh and there’s more to come. I bought 5 yards of Summer gardens to share with my 2 girlfriends and we’re supposed to split it to make dresses for our little girls (between us 3 we have 5 girls) but I can’t bear to cut it up cuz it’s so pretty!!! I’ve got Just stay little in turquoise and lilac too and I’m thinking of making bags for the girls. Too many ideas with your lovely fabric…Will post in in the flickr group once I’m done!

    hey yifarn,
i found your site through BYW too. LOVE your work! Makes me want to make a Sarah Jane cushion for my little girl too. :) I think I saw the pic of your cushions with jap words initially and thought it was made by a japanese. Love the wallpaper and your other photography site too. Oh yeah, on a separate note, I saw the dragon fruit post — I have to say the purple flesh dragon fruits are much sweeter than the white ones.

Hi Shiying! I visited your site too through BYW. I read your “About Me” and it sounds so familiar! I think I like everything on your list except for scrapbooking which IMO is a very expensive hobby. haha :) No, I’m not Japanese but I love all things Jap and it just makes the pictures look more appealing somehow. The wallpaper is from Laura Ashley. I love it!
